Some of my personal work! My life with photography started as a teenager. I was lucky to grow up in Kenya and spent a lot of time on safari watching and learning about the beautiful animals and birds in Kenya. I learned to enjoy the little things - the birds, the insects, the landscapes; everything you see and enjoy when you're not just looking for the leopards and lions. I loved to sit with an old film SLR that belonged to a family friend and who trusted me to use it and let me take rolls worth of film while we were on safari. I have a huge appreciation for these animals and landscapes still love to spend time photographing them when I travel back to Kenya. I also enjoying photographing the landscapes and wildlife where I live in the UK.

In 2012 I entered my first and only photography competition, Canon "Power to Inspire", and came 1st place. My prize was a 3 days trip to the Masaai Mara with the incredible Johnathan Scott, where I learned a lot more about photographing wildlife, but also had the opportunity to use some of Canon's amazing cameras and lenses as well.
